To The New Mr And Mrs Gladwell

It’s funny to think that as I write this post that on the other side of the planet my cousin Robert and his bride Jen are probably waking up about now in their separate beds in New Zealand. Dawn may just be breaking, but they won’t be turning over in their beds and trying to get a bit more sleep. Butterflies will be fluttering around inside them from excitement for the days events ahead of them.
For today Robert and Jen it is the day that they make that big commitment and promise to love each other for ever no matter what, for richer or poorer, in illness and good health.
Yes it’s a long way to go to get married. But they are now living down there permanently. It helped that Jen is a kiwi and for her it was moving back home. However a big move none the less for both.
If things had worked out I’d of been there too, and you would of been reading all about my adventures in New Zealand. However as we all know things haven’t gone to plan in the last year and a half for me. So I am stuck in the UK writing this post instead.
It’s hard to think that Robert is now living abroad and getting married, when it only seems like yesterday that the family was traveling down to Horsham to see the new born Robert. Where does the time go?
I’d like to take this time to congratulate Robert and Jen on their marriage. I wish them both a long and happy marriage.

I’ll join you in that as I would have liked to have been there as well to Rob and Jen
