The other morning I saw this bee on the thistle drying out. Which enabled me to get some great shots of it.

  2. Well these are lovely nature photos indeed, very pleasing, thanks! Love the bottom ones of the Toad, very nobbly skin so assume it is one of the now rarer Natterjack variety most probably. To handle those fellas at all one is these days supposed to go on a one day course I think it is with the Environments Agency. If you find them think I read someplace too one is supposed to report their location as they are now thought so endangered as to be thought necessary of ‘rescue’ by quallified duly course certificate attained members of said Environments Agency here now! Well nuts to em! There is one in my front garden, he is quite happy and he is staying there. I see quite a lot of them when out and about in woods and stuff locally to, so dunno what officialdom is going on about!
