5 Days to go – Just chillin

Another walk with the dogs whilst wearing the Inov8 roclite 315’s. Still like them a lot. Which is rather handy as it is too late in the day now to change them.

Got a fleece from Millets today, I’m a big fan of the fleeces they sell. For under £20 plus a YHA members discount of 10% they can’t be beat. I think I paid £16 for it. A very good price indeed. And from my experience they do the job just as well as  the more expensive brands.

Went through my kit last night, checking it over etc. Making sure i have everything, rethinking if I really need some stuff. For example do I really need a fleece hat AND a balaclava (sp?) I decided no I don’t so dropping the fleece hat.

It does seem a bit scary. It’s ever more real, and you start to think "this time next week…" and particularly you wonder what state you will be in after doing the tough day three that we have.
